History Degress

May seem like a stupid question but everyone I've asked haven't given me a proper answer. Does a War and Society degree give you the same sort of qualification as a regular history one? If I did War and society would I then be able to move into a teaching degree to teach history?

Hiya

Is it this course? http://www.swansea.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/artsandhumanities/war-and-society/ba-war-l252/ They don't mention teaching in the careers section.

I would contact the uni directly and ask them if this course would be recognised and approved to then go into teacher training. I would double check this with Go into teaching so that you're absolutely sure https://getintoteaching.education.gov.uk/passing-the-skills-tests

Hope this helps
