Basic Maths help..

Maths to me is like learning German...

What do I need to do in order to work out my module marks so far?

Everything is marked out of 100.

For example I got 77 percent and the test was worth 25 percent of my overall grade?

What percentage did I get? (I could do with the sum so I can work out my other module marks -.-)

Your module mark is 77%. Your current overall percentage is 0.25*0.77*100%=19.25%.

Just multiply the proportions of marks that you get. eg. the proportion you have of the total is (0.77)(0.25) = 0.1925 or 19.25%. 25% is the most marks that you can get in the test and you got 77% in the test so to get your marks as a percentage of the total you just take 77% of 25%.
