Regarding self respect: Why does having a lot of sex mean they don't have self respect? Self respect is about loving yourself and having high self esteem; I fail to see the correlation between a lot of sex and high self esteem.

Multiple partners: Why does having multiple partners mean that slut shaming can be justified?

Commitment: If said person had a lot of sex with different people outside of a relationship, and otherwise remained faithful during a relationship, why would you be concerned?

Terrible wives result in broken homes, single parent households and the massive problems that result. Single parent households are universally proven to produce children with far higher rates of crime, suicide, depression, rape and theft.

Slutty women also distract men from the real business of society.

What is gained from women being in the workforce is generally replaceable by automation and there is little reason for women to work these days. If there must be money given for easy jobs then it must go to men, whose self-esteem and self-worth depends on their work.

The costs, especially the wasted costs (like men being fired of sexual harassment accusations), of women in the workforce are starting to outweigh the benefits and if men have any testosterone left they will, for economic reasons and for reasons of self-preservation, demand the undoing of the neoliberal "liberation" of women from their traditional responsibilities of motherhood and family.

Unfortunately testosterone levels have fallen a fair amount and in countries without adequate water processing systems, the flood of oestrogen (and other female-targeting drugs, like antidepressants) going into the water supply is likely causing a disruption of natural male behaviour.

This is such a ****ing sexist post.
Why did you only talk about women? Do "slutty men" also result in broken homes, and terrible husbands?

I don't necessarily agree with anyone posting online explicit photos for professional reasons but I still don't see how posting those type of photos means they have no self esteem. - I mean, clearly they will have high self esteem or respect themselves because they appreciate their bodies enough to show the world in the first place?

B) no I'm not saying you can't sleep with people, but if you're sleeping with like 10 people then that's a bit excessive

This is a discussion so if you disagree, please say why and refrain from insulting me(or each other) because if we do this thread will go down more quickly than the titanic.

You have not advanced a reason why, you have merely asserted your opinion. You are to blame: you designed this thread with a flimsy hull and then hoped shouting loud enough about how unsinkable it was would save it.

So put a few rivets in that hull and give a reason why.

Slut-shaming was justified when there was no contraception and the community would have to bear the cost of any babies. Today we have the welfare state, contraception, good obstetric, genito-urinary and paediatric medical care, washing machines, jobs women can do, etc etc.

It's simply not an issue nowadays, unless the woman is cheating, exploiting men, or having sex as a crutch for a psychological issue. But these are largely covered by different moral and ethical codes anyway.

But you can't say every person (or even most people) who go from one person to the next like a frog on lily pads, or who has sex with several people at once is completely ok with who they are after it's said and done. Maybe you're a virgin, I've no idea, but after you have sex, especially for women, it's very psychosomatic aka it's very much an interaction of the psychology, emotions and the body.

Sex is powerful. Not everyone has it and feels nothing afterwards. Some people feel alone, or feel guilt, or ashamed, or disgusted after the temporary pleasure inevitably goes away. It's easy not to realise this if you've never had sex though.

As you can see the baseline for home-breaking is quite low for women in the above graph. For men it is 60% if I recall correctly.

The best situation of course is two virgins marrying and creating a lifelong bond. :smile:

If one person sleeps with loads of people, it would make me concerned of whether they'd be committed to me, for example.

There's no necessary connection between promiscuity and unfaithfulness.

Re pictures, same argument applies: what harm is it doing?

People can do what they want imo. If it doesn't directly impact my life then I don't care, I have more important things to care about than whether Kevin shagged Stacy last night. If someone was neglecting group work or my lab partner wasn't going to lab sessions then it would be a different story.

If they end up pregnant or get an STD or STI, then that isn't my problem.

Normal people grow out of these childlike- "I need sex" urges in their early years. The diet these days is so nutritionally deficient that more people are staying childlike for longer (hence the increase in the range of the age group that tends to vote socialist). Even so, the sex hunger is not an invitation to sleep around indiscriminately. Promiscuity is the start of the death of pair bonding (based on the data shown above) and that is the basis of demographic suicide. This is a large part of the reason that there are more minority babies born in the UK than native ones.

This is also partly the reason that in the past parents used to arrange marriages for their daughters when they became fertile. To stop their natural need to be ****ed leading to promiscuity and an inability to pair bond.

Thus when seen with a broader perspective - with the end goal being preserving the long term existence of one's people - promiscuity is clearly quite harmful. Having said that, if you don't care about the long term existence of your own people (symptomatic of a very very subdeveloped amygdala), you should improve your diet as a matter of urgency as it's very likely that your emaciation has caused you to lose it.
