Open University student supporting my daughters application

My daughter is in Year 2 of her degree. I started Open University over a year ago and have been supporting her throughout
I filled in the financial statement for both years declaring mine and my partners income and the loan was based on this
I have read somewhere that £1300 or thereabouts should be deducted from my income because I am a student but I am not sure if this applies to part time degree students or just those who are full time
There is nothing on my student finance account which allows me to fill this in but my account clearly demonstrates I have both a supporting account and my own student finance application
Has anyone any idea how this works and should the deduction have been applied to my income
Thanks
Hi Kay159

If there is more than one student in the household there may be a reduction in come classed as a split contribution. This may be where a parent has 2 children at university.
The assessors will automatically assess this if someone is sponsoring more than one student.

Thanks
