Family don't want me to move far away for uni

I think that's just a mum thing! My mum is and was the exact same and we are extremely close. She would always drop not so subtle hints that she did not want me to go to uni anywhere further than two hours away haha, but now I'm going to a uni six hours away because it's amazing and great for my course. She understands this because she wants the best for me but says she will obviously miss me. I'm sure your mum would always want the best for you in the end, so whether you're an hour away or six, she will always miss you. Just explain to her how you feel and she will support you I'm sure x
