There are few but significant no. of girls doing or intending to do engineering. Check out some other threads & you will definitely find girls like black_mamba & others.
If you are going to Bristol this year, then that makes you my neighbour coz I'll hopefully be in Bath from Oct 06.

Oh yay theres me ( Justin) and quite a few others here, perhaps misrepresenting the real situation where you'll completely be surrounded by male engineers. Take your pick, and enjoy it.

I'm in my 3rd year so i know a lot about the department and course at York (not just the music stream, can give info about any of the others... media, computing, avionics, straight etc.). I'm probably a bit biased but it's ace, it's had a bit of a bad rep this year but as a student here i couldn't imagine being anywhere else, and the courses really are good. The music and media courses are the *only* courses of this form in the UK, no other uni has a course like these, and they are internationally renowned.
