I am putting York Computer Science as a firm choice, I am wondering which college will be best for comp sci?

Hiya,

If you want to be close to your department Campus East is a good starting point as the Computer Science dept is located there. Campus West is only a few minutes on the free bus/20 minute walk/5 minute bike ride away though so you would not be far away.

I would recommend looking at which college offers accommodation that is what you are looking for, ie. ensuite/shared bathroom, catered/self-catered as each college offers different types. For example all of our Campus East accommodation is self-catered. You can see more on our Rooms and prices page and you can see individual college information and pictures.

Hopefully someone studying Computer Science will let you know what they think but for now this will give you some things to consider!
