Job transfer?
Hello.
I'm basically in a bit of a dilemma.
My parents are in the process of buying a house, and we are likely to move there after my A level exams finish on the 23rd of June.
I told my manager that I'd be interested in a store transfer as my new house is around 35 minutes away, and my dad said that petrol costs would be too high. Therefore, my store has set up a transfer to another store 6 miles away from my new house - but that store is around 45 minutes away from where I'm currently living.
The new store wants me to work 5.25 hours on Saturdays and 8.25 hours on Sundays starting from April, which is rather challenging for me as my A2 exams are rapidly approaching and it'll cost me a lot for petrol to be travelling an hour and a half on both Saturday and Sunday.
Should I just stay at my old store until September when I hope to start university, or transfer and just put up with it?
At my current store, I have exam leave from May 11th to June 23rd, which I'm not sure the new store will do for me.
