Thinking of Going into Male Prostitution

Money is very difficult right now and I can't get any support from family and I'm really looking for a job, but haven't been successful.

I am thinking of going into male prostitution.

Does anyone have any experience or knows of anyone who has gone into the sex industry?

I was reading an article that more and more university students are seeking the sex industry to help them with their financial struggles. I think this might have to be an option for me because I am worried that I will not be able to afford anything.

Surely there other (much safer) ways to make money? Have you looked for a job doing something else? If you are a student in financial difficulty then speak your university, they may have grants for people in your situation.
As long as you've got the hips for it!

Bad route

You've got £1,000 but you also have HIV
(not good)

Talk to your uni perhaps? Perhaps just apply to any job? Any job is better than no job right? Or apply for some internships, they pay a reasonable amount?

There should be plenty of jobs at the university, try retail jobs, fast food.
If you are really desperate turn to being a stripper or an escort instead where you dont have to have sex.

I hope you find a suitable opening.

Not likely to be a vibrant market. Women aren't really in to paying for sex and since men are such hound dogs the gay market is not likely to be lucrative either. Then add in the risks and ethical considerations. Get a job in the SU bar instead.

Ive heard a lot about how once women get past 45/50 they become invisible and find it hard to get attention from men. Dont you think male prostitution would have a market for middle aged to old women ?

Bonkers I feel. Many are in relationships or could readily access sex for free or their libido is at a low ebb. Plus women, unlike men, are not obsessed with shagging unsuitably young partners. But good luck and let me know if I'm wrong.

It's difficult to get a job in Oxford. It's a small city with a lot of students.

I have tried looking for jobs but have not found anything that can be of a reasonable income.

I will apply for a hardship, but that's not even guaranteed.

HIV isn't as easy to catch like that. Yes it's risky, but I would be using protection. HIV is only passed from blood and other bodily liquids (excluding saliva).

Applying for jobs and actually being success are two very different things. I have an interview soon, but it's not a stable job.

I will look into internships, even though they hardly pay and most companies look for 3rd years or graduates, not Freshers.

Don't know if your trolling or not but it isn't that easy to just get into what you call "male prositituiton" they examine you, test you, you'll basically be out most of the time. Just go and apply for some jobs like primark or suttin. Don't lower yourself, your better then that

But why bend over backwards for an employer? The op clearly sees working for himself by bending over forwards as the answer.
