In this context sounds like drugs.
If they haven't bothered to detain you then I doubt they actually called the cops. Bouncers don't want to call the cops. It's a pure last resort. And that's especially true if they suspected it was a legal high as that is not as impressive of finding cocaine...
Places will get a bad rep if the cops are always turning up, plus the cops will get pissed off at the place too and might get nosy and this could cost the firm and the bouncers their jobs potentially.
