So I've pretty much made up my mind to leave my course at the end of this year and hopefully, if I pass the year I will obtain a Scottish ordinary degree as oppose to progressing to 4th year. I shalln't go into the details, but I believe it is for the best and there is little chance of me obtaining a good degree classification on my current course.
So I'm planning to switch to Open University in a different subject and transfer some credits which should allow me to graduate within 2 years (one year extra than just completing honours year at my current uni).
Say I got a 2:1 or above in this course, would I be at a disadvantage in job interviews/screening (compared to those who have only one degree, at honours) because I have an ordinary degree for another course that wasn't completed to honours year, despite having a good degree classification from the second course?
I'm thinking about Masters courses in the future too, but that's a couple of years away at least and I have to get to that point first!
Will having an ordinary degree AND an honours degree put me at a disadvantage?
