Durham Accommodation
I have not yet firmed my offer for Durham, but I was curious as to whether or not picking the actual accommodation within your allocated college has started for offer holders yet?

No, nothing happens about accommodation yet.
Unlike many other universities who do ask you to apply for accommodation and preferences before results day, at Durham for undergraduate offer holders nothing happens until after results day - when they can confirm who is actually coming.
Essentially this is because your college WILL have a room for you, if you have chosen to live in. You get lots of forms asking about preferences such as en-suite and sharing and also about your interests etc...from your college in late August.
