My tutor recommended I purchase a book, won't cost me too much about £10. I'm wondering if it's worth getting these writing revision guides, or would you say it's better to use the internet?

    Hi Carnes,

is this a special writing guide, which consist writing requirements for your institution? Was it specially created for students of your college/uni?

If yes, it's better to purchase it and use it wisely in your study.

Or is it only a guide which your tutor is selling to everyone?

However, with the proficient use of the Internet, you could find many helpful guides, such as English & English Literature Guides, Revising and Editing Guide and Plagiarism Guide. Of course, you can find many guides. On the other hand, there is a danger that all these guides are not appropriate for your study.

Discuss this question with your tutor and you will receive the best answer.
