Maths is great. Mechanics is interesting but very hard when you start off and at the beginning of each topic. It's all so new!
I am currently studying As Physics and I'm finding it incredibly tough. The sheer volume of knowledge you need to have for the subject consumes a lot of time and commitment to keep on top of it all. I would only pick physics if you're genuinely interested in the subject and you want to succeed in a related field.
