how can you collect reliable data, whilst doing an experiment
eerm ..by asking your class mates if they have similar results and to compare your results with theirs so you can spot any anomalies.

If you repeat the test and the same set of results are produced. So the more you repeat the test and the more times the results are same or similar, the more reliable your evidence is. Also if other people can reproduce your test (in other experiments) and they also achieve the same results then it contributes to it's reliabilty.
