Has anyone used flashcards and what subjects do you think they are best for, and how long do they take? I've yet to try them out because i've used other methods like videos, but is writing information on both sides enough, or do you have to have a question on the other side? Thanks

I use them mainly for definitions and subjects where the theory is mostly just remembering stuff like in computer science. I have a question on one side like "Define data" and then the answer on the other side. The rest of the time I do index cards with just information and stuff on one side and then stick them on my bedroom wall. Some subjects I use loads of index cards. In chemistry (unit 2 alone) I used 50 cards.

I usually don't use them but then I do use them for Latin. I would write the word on one side and the translation on the other. You could also put quotes and their explanation on flashcards for english and you could put down dates for history. You could put case study information if you do geography.
    Hope I managed to help.

I never use them because when everyone else does it seems as though they have stacks and stacks of them :/
