What is diversity?
Diversity aims to recognise, respect and value people’s differences to contribute and realise their full potential by promoting an inclusive culture for all
This can be alongthe dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs,political beliefs, or other ideologies.
If you just use google here are plenty of examples where laws have been used to increase diversity. there should be much better examples of research in the library or even the legal press. There is also some data conerning changes in diversity of the profession. I would spend some time thinking about whether its been a success and if not why not.
