Hi everyone!
I'm a fourth-year undergrad studying in the States, graduating this May.
Over this past winter break I applied and later got accepted to both Oxford and Cambridge's Master's programs for Applied Linguistics / Second Language Education.
The courses are named differently:
MSc Applied Linguistics & Second Language Acquisition at Oxford, and
MPhil Research in Second Language Education at Cambridge,
but based on the information on the course pages they look very similar in many aspects, such as requirements, course structure, content, length and so forth...
So now I'm pretty lost..
I've searched on TSR and other sites for related info, but it seems few people have addressed this specific question.
I know I can't really make a "bad" decision by going with either of them, but it'd still be great if I could get some advice here.
Related info, data, thoughts about the courses, the two schools' atmosphere, reputation etc. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
