History AS Level 2016 (CIE)

I'm taking my AS level history exam in May/June and I am still unclear on how to structure my essays. Both for paper 1 and paper 2. I was also informed by my teacher that the criteria for examiners has changed. Can anybody clarify this for me? If you know the new structure that would help a lot too! Thanks
