What do you think of the 'Prevent' strategy? (anti terrorism in schools)

I think it's got good intentions but is being executed in the wrong way, it's almost over the top.
Guardian piece doesn't make a lot of sense... I think muslim students are more vulnerable to radicalisation than the average, but most muslim students are clearly not going to be dangerous.

between 2012 and 2013, that figure was 57.4%. This is despite the fact that, according to the 2011 national census, Muslims made up only 5% of the national population.


What sort of radical groups are we having the most serious problems with in this county at the moment? - it's not radical Mormons, or the flat earth society it's not really radical animal right groups (though some of them are on the nasty list)

The government should be spending money on helping vulnerable schoolchildren imo... though quite what the prevent strategy should be doing is more difficult to answer.
