Hi. Im currently studying my a levels and thinking about unis.
I'm interested in Quantity Surveing. The uni i'd like to go to is LJMU, but i have seen the option if the sandwich course which is a year of work placement. Has anyone got any advice whether to go on the sandwich course or not?
Also, is there anyone here studying QS with any advice for me or any QS's here with something to say about their job please?

I did the construction management sandwich degree at LJMU and thought the year out was extremely beneficial.

You don't have to choose straight away, just let your programme leader know once you have secured a placement with a company.

Only advice I'd give is attend all the lectures, some lectures may feel naff but it really is true what the university preachs, the students who attend more get higher grades.
