Advice please... On a first class degree

So it all depends on the University. The thing is both of my universities didn't offer a year of work placement to my chosen subject. So I really don't know how I'll get my experience. Let's just say the university did offer a work placement. Do you think I'll be able to request a year placement if they did offer it through the end of my second year? @0xygen
Got a 2.2 (57%) in first year as I didn't attend/revise. Learnt a lesson, turned up to most lectures/made lots of notes/started revision early in the years that actually counted for something (2nd & final) and graduated with a first class. Hard work and organisation I guess.
