Airport 'complications' - had any?

Has anyone had any difficulties or complications at an airport on outward or inward travel? Funny or not please share if you can.
I've had a few. Some are:
1. Leaving my passport on the plane from Las Vegas to Chicago and not being able to connect to my ongoing flight to Heathrow until the next day as when my passport was located the plane was on it's way to New York. Lesson learnt: Don't drink tequila on a plane with Mexican guys.
2. Didn't check my rucksack before I packed for a weekend in Barcelona and was gutted my Swiss Army knife was in there and confiscated at Gatwick.
3. Arriving at Gatwick in a group of 4 giggling idiots from a long weekend in Amsterdam, we were all stopped by Customs. Everything was fine but I still remember the raised eyebrow and smirk from a customs officer as he opened and emptied one condom out of a box of 12. Lesson learnt: Don't consume 'leftovers' outside Schiphol airport and throw empty boxes in the bin.
So, any good bad or ugly tales my TSR comrades? Lol 😎
Yeah I was meant to go to Nigeria once, and since many flights don't go direct, we had to go to Rome first, then go to Nigeria. The first flight went well, but as we approached Lagos on the second flight, everyone started singing and dancing on the plane, so the pilot was being distracted.

I know that landing a plane is tough, but they could've waited until afterwards. It took about 6 attempts to land the plane.

This is the only plane experience I've had though, since I don't ever leave the UK.

Considering that's the only plane experience you have had I've gotta say you were both unlucky and lucky! Sounds like a hoot! I think I would have laughed too much on the plane but been a bit worried after about the 3rd aborted landing! 😎
I had a connecting flight in Delhi with a different airline that hadn't been booked together (long story). Turns out that connection required you to exit the airport and re-enter. Problem: I didn't have a visa! The airline were very helpful and escorted me across in the end, but initially they were talking of deporting me - stressful!

I was once booking a mountainous flight but it kept getting cancelled due to bad weather. I decided to change airline, and the next day the previous airline did take off and mine didn't... but it subsequently crashed with no survivors. Flights were cancelled for ages after that so never made it.

I've had a 14 hour delay but the airline kept being 'we're almost there 1 more hour' for the whole time. The other passengers were getting so wound up that the airport brought in 8 burley security men to protect the crew! The final 4 hours of the delay were because they needed to stock the new plane with food but were struggling because it was 2am. We pointed out it was a 4 hour flight - no one wanted food at 4am - but they said it was part what we paid for so they had to.

Sat in a plane in Norway whilst it was de-iced, which was quite cool.

Almost got turned away from a flight for being too dirty (I'd been camping the previous week - I was pretty disgustingly dirty).

I've both lost a swiss army knife like the OP, but also succeeded in (accidentally) bringing another on board a different flight. Oops.

Slept rough outside an airport where I had a connection but it shut overnight. Fortunately it was a warm country (and no visa requirements).

That's about it.
