Guys, I've heard that Maths HL is pretty much suicide and if you're going to take it, you might as well have at least taken the Ad maths course. For all those who take Maths HL, how do you think I would do, considering I've only done half the course (compared to the entire course).

P.S. I got an A* in the iGSCE and If you would like to know, my HLs are going to be Maths, Chem, Bio (and Econ since they think we might drop Maths).

I'm doing HL maths at the moment and it's definitely one of my hardest subjects but if you're willing to work super hard and dedicate a lot of your time to maths then you have a good chance of doing well.

However, it definitely helps to have done add maths as the course covers some of the basics of HL maths which the teacher won't necessarily go over again as most people doing HL maths will have done add maths.

Getting an A* in igcse is a good start but if you want to do HL maths I would recommend you try completing the add maths course in your free time (maybe this summer) or at least try learning some of the concepts and practicing them.

Sorry for the long answer but I hope it helps!
