    Hi there,

I am currently finishing my first year of my masters and have found myself in a financial situation.

I want to apply for a PCDL but have been told i may not get it as the banks will only normally give it to a student who is just about to start their masters. I have called National Careers Service to ask them but have been told to call the banks.

Does anyone know if i will have to go through the whole application process before they can tell me if i am eligible for the loan? and how long will this take?!

    Thanks for the help!
