Shoot, how can I explain this better.

Okay, so, IMO, making a choice is just choosing something. It doesn't mean that you were the only thing affecting that choice, it just mean that you chose to do something.

Like a lot of things in life, it's not always equal. That's why we say "we don't have much of a choice." even though we did actually have a choice in the first place. Say, for example, believing that the world is flat or something, we have a choice on whether to believe that or not but because of the sheer amount of evidence convincing us, we don't have much of a choice because everything seems to say that it is true and we are convinced into choosing something else. In this case, we had a choice but we didn't have much of a choice.

Belief on the other hand is like this, in a way. It is something that has become a norm to us. Yes, we have a choice in whether to believe it or not but we didn't have much of a choice because it has been ingrained into us so much that it has become the norm. And the thing about things becoming the norm is that it makes that inequality between choices steeper and it is easier for us to believe in something over another thing.

    Does this make more sense?
    Agree with 1st paragraph.

2nd paragraph begs the question. Assumption that believing the world is flat is even a choice.

3rd paragraph makes more sense but no explanation just POV which is fine.

Thanks for sharing your belief (chosen or not )!
