Applying to Cambridge with only two science subjects at HL in IB

    I am faced with a dilemma as to whether I should or should not apply to Cambridge when I am doing Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Greek at HL and Maths along with English at SL. Should I apply or not? Would taking an A-level on January of Y13 make my application more competitive?

    The fact that you're doing four HLs (HOW :O ) is already outstanding enough. Cambridge doesn't require IB students to take any other side-qualifications when they apply. What does look good on an application is work experience and extracurriculars related to the subject you're planning on applying for.

    Generally, a good rule of thumb for Oxbridge is that if your score is at or above a 40, you stand a chance of being able to get in. I'd recommend you check their website for more details on the grades they're asking for and other requirements, though.
