my revision hasnt been going well & seriously think im going to fail bio synoptic paper and am contemplating what i might have to do on results day when i most likely get ABC when im meant to get AAB! anyone else in this situation,im so scared ! would hate repeatin yr 13 but that might just have to happen

If (when..) I don't get the grades I'm gonna stick around for a week or two to go on holiday with my friends, then pick up my student loan money and take off somewhere. No idea where, but I won't be coming back to repeat year 13. It actually doesn't sound too bad.

I probably would resit the whole year, i mean i'm not that worried about my grades really, but SHOULD i not get my grades i would redo the year. I mean, might as well take advantage whilst it's free right? I know i'd regret not trying again.

I'd apply anyway, becuase if there's extreme cirumstances why grades wern't met the universities tend to be more open to accepting them. I.e.Lie about some false circumstances.

If not, i'd retake the exams. It might screw up chances of getting on a good course, but any's better than none!

If you don't get the grades you want UCAS place you into 'clearing'. This is simply where you have to wait until all the courses are filled and then UCAS will suggest courses that you could try to get on to with your grades and based on what you have chosen.

I think you can also try and get into your original course by doing top up courses aswell. BTW I don't think that you can take out you student loan unless you are infact a student so if you don't get in you don't get it - i think thats how it works !!

If I didn't get the grades, I would probably go full-time at my job, and resit the exams and coursework in my own time, instead of resitting the year. That way I would have more money to go to uni with, and would get better grades (I always get better grades second time round, and am alleric to Mechanics exams the first time I sit them)

Although the chance of me not hitting my offer is possible, I still dread to think what would happen if I did actually miss it. I would probably cry hysterically, beg the uni to let me in, and if that doesn't work, settle with my insurance choice, should I get the grades for those (that's the worst case scenario that I've considered!)

Cry lots, then retake the year, and next time around I would actually do some studying. I wouldn't go into clearing, cos Nottingham Trent is the only uni I wanna go to. I only have a firm choice, so no insurance back-up for me! Failing this, I would do a modern apprenticeship in environmental conservation.

if you muck up, then there is no sense redoing an entire academic year when you pretty much know everything. You just resit the exams you need to do in January, no big deal really.

well on the day, id be totally peed off and get totally smashed and get drunk for 2 weeks and if i dont get into a good uni through clearing, im gonna go abroad to open a bar with the assisted help of my dad, so really, it dont matter...but i will miss the fact that i wont get uni life, so id probably resit in jan so i can go to uni next year!im the youngest in my year, so i wont even be that old compared to other first years!
