What was the question to which people got the answers 25 and 0? What did it ask you to do?
It was the weird sum of question. Question 2 I think.

It gave you a list of functions to do to get to r n+1. It then gave you a=5 for part i) and a=6 for part ii)

You then had to find the sum of the sequence between 2nd and 4th terms

I think anyway...

you times indices across brackets giving you 3m
But it wasn't brackets. It was the log function.

If it was (a^m)^3 then you could. But this was log(a^m)^3. The brackets is part of the log so you can't times the indices like you would normally.
3. Everyone's saying that it was a hard paper. Everyone's complaining about the f(h+5) question. But if you actually revised properly and actually put in the effort, you could have answered these "impossible questions". You'll get the grade you deserve.
4. When solving the trig question, did everyone put 360 as well as one of the solutions was 0 so wouldn't you add 360 on to that? I know there where more solutions too...Just wondering about the one what =0...

Got 0, 180, 14.5, 165.5

the value came out at 14. something. You then take that away from 360 to find the other value.

The log graph was awful, felt impossible to draw a best line of fit, ended up with y intercept of 0.6 and gradient 0.2 which seems way off
I got the same but 0.65 instead, no biggie. It's probably right
8. log_a(a) = 1 is correct.

You take it away from 180
10. (Original post by Mr Moon Man)
You're supposed to end up with 5 values
which were what?!
11. (Original post by Lucuniexet)
which were what?!
0,180,360, 14 something, and 180- 14 something

0,180,360, 14 something, and 180- 14 something
0, 180, 14.5, 165.5

Sine is only positive in two quadrants so the max results you could get is 4

swear its only 2 values? because if i did it right i got 4sinx - 1 = 0

so isn't it just sin^-1 25

or is there another step i missed? x
14. (Original post by Akhawais)
0, 180, 14.5, 165.5

Depends what the limits were. Was the upper limit <360 or was it <=360?

450

It was <=360
17. Unofficial mark scheme anyone?

Honestly can't remember. If it was <= 360 then there would be 5 values, but I'm pretty sure it was < 360

You do 180-0. And also, 360+0.

Unofficial mark scheme anyone?
There's one a few pages back
