Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

I am a prospective student looking to study sociology at Southampton. I attended an applicant day in February, but unfortunately didn't meet any sociology students throughout the day. I spoke with many criminology students who praised their course, the staff and the student life at the university, but I still feel that I would have benefited from speaking with a sociology student.

If there are any previous or current sociology students from Southampton, what is the course like? Is it very challenging? How is the quality of teaching? How are most modules and units assessed? Are the lecturer's engaging?

    Many thanks!
