I'd certainly recommend it.. a good understanding of maths will help you with physics anyway, and vice versa :]
[anyway, maths is awesome. haha]

are there any engineering courses that dont require maths?
You can get into most without it(i emailed Manchester regarding Chemical Engineering, they said any 3 sciences were fine, but also said it would 'strengthen my application'.

A watered down civil engineering course?

If you have any intention of doing Electrical Engineering at university, then you’ll need above all else: A-Level Maths and A-Level Physics. A lot of universities also look favourable upon having either AS or A-Level Further Maths.

Otherwise though, with Maths, Physics, Chemistry and ICT, you have a great combination for studying Electrical Engineering at university.
I want to do Electronic/Communications Engineering at uni. Maths & Physics are a must have and then i chose two other courses that i enjoy.
