Transferring when you go to uni?

My A levels will be over in a couple of weeks, and I'm thinking of finding some form of part-time employment over the summer. However, since I'm going to Uni in September, I'd like to know how easy it is, if you go to work for a large chain, to transfer come September? e.g. if you were to get a job at your local supermarket which has a branch near your uni, is it relatively easy to work at the other one whilst you're studying and your home one during holidays? Or is it a case of having to start from scratch when you move out in September?

In most large chains, transfer is easy, just speak to your manager and see what they can do to help you out. :smile:

I know the following stores offer them
* Tesco
*Morrisons
*Sainsburrys
*Marks and Spencers

Im sure most of the other large chain stores do too, but couldnt be 100%
