Anyone doing/applying Bournemouth's Animation course?

Hi, So yea, I basically put down their Computer Animation Arts course as part of my ucas choice, but have yet to do some admission test?
Im still contemplating whether i should do this course as apparently the course is more artistic/narrative orientated and less technological in a forum i saw outside tsr once

So in general is their course good?

Hi TheDboyAi,

I can't give you too much information about the course as I don't study it (I study Television Production at BU) however I have forwarded your question on and hopefully someone from animation can get back to you shortly.

However from what I know of your course from being part of the media and communication faculty is that it is highly praised.

Students have gone on to work on films such as Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Interstellar, Gravity and Alice in Wonderland.

David Cameron also recently said this:

"Bournemouth University plays a very important part because its training of some of our digital effects specialists [and] because of many of our creative people [are] an absolutely key part of this vital and growing industry."

If you haven't already done so it may be worth checking out the course details to find out more information: https://www1.bournemouth.ac.uk/study/courses/ba-hons-computer-animation-arts

Hope this helped!
