I have completed my BRONZE DofE and I'm a bit sceptical about whether or not to carry on and do Silver and then Gold.

I'm hoping for a career in Medicine but I think that doing silver may take away any free time I have. I'm already volunteering in numerous places, do sports, play an instrument, Pupil Council in school, other school societies, bit of work experience here and there, and doing other awards (saltire etc.)

How much is Silver and/or gold put in value in getting into Medicine?

If I do go on to apply for Medicine, wouldn't I just be able to say 'I completed the Duke of Edinburgh's award' (or something along those lines) instead of saying what level I completed it in? Sorry for rambling on.😬

What skills did the Bronze DOfE give you? As long as it developed skills that would be useful as a medical student/doctor, then you can write about/reflect on those
