Hmmm well I absolutely hate it. I think it's terrible writing. Crappy characters, crappy plot, crappy dialogue, even crappy sex scenes. I think why it got so popular is because stuff like BDSM is so underground and hush hush (like swingers clubs etc) that when this story was marketed in a way most other erotic novels aren't, people felt "safe" enough to publicly read and watch their fantasy without judgment.

I haven't read it fully, but I have seen the film. I legit wanted to walk out but the cinema I was in was soo lovely and we were sat on the most comfortable sofas so I couldn't leave haha.

i have written books in the past one featured a guy having his hand deep fried and i am still working on how to step it up next time i have a few ideas such as
decapitation by a helicopter
trapping someone in a lift or vault door
