Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

I'm currently on the implant and have been for almost 2.5 years. I've had to take the pill at the same time because my hormones never calmed down. It's been okay but now I'm reaching the end I am looking for another method and could do with some advice! I am useless at taking the pill, so that's out. I've been told not to have depo by my doctor because I already have low bone density. (Actually very good news as I'm terrified of needles!). So I think my choices are down to IUS or IUD, unless there's another method that I'm forgetting that won't be affected by my inability to remember anything. I went for the counselling appointment for the IUS and actually went as far as looking at booking an appointment to get it; problem is that the only appointment they have is right before my finals! So I think I'm going to have to give that a miss and book an appointment with my home dr or a GUM clinic.
Does anyone have any advice? I don't know if the GUM clinic would have a shorter waiting list as I've always gone to the GP to get contraceptives!
