I am stuck between Sussex and Southampton because they both have different things to offer, so any insight into reasons for or against either of them would be very helpful. I am going to study Psychology and have been given offers to both. Southampton has higher rankings in all the league tables, on some by quite a few places and is also a Russell group, however Sussex is in a better location for me personally and the city of Brighton I have been told far outweighs Southampton in all aspects and that is a very important factor to me.

Accommodation at Southampton is off campus but much better overall I found when we looked.
Its not a dead city by any means and is much closer to the city centre than Falmer is to Brighton.
