In my practical I got 10, 10, 10 and 9 with full marks in my PEP, what score would I get overall for my practical?

Based on last year's boundaries 120/120 UMS.

Based on the June 2014 boundaries 116/120 UMS.
2. Thank you for that, so on average I would need about 60/80 on my exam to get an A*?

Anyone!!!!??? I got 45/50 overall in my practical (60%) going into the exam tomorrow, could you work out how many marks out of the 80 I would need to get for a B or a C in total in the theory based on recent grade boundaries, I would appreciate it. Thanks
Last year 45/50 raw marks in practical earned you 96/120 UMS - i.e. 80% = A as 45 was the A grade boundary.

Assuming 45/50 is the A grade boundary for the practical this year, 45/50 gets you 96/120 UMS.

To get an A grade overall you need 80% of the total UMS available which is 160/200 = 80% = A.

You've got 96 already (assuming grade boundaries are the same as last year for the practical unit) so to get 160 you need 64 more UMS which is an A grade in the exam (last year to get 64/80 UMS you needed 56/80 raw marks in the exam).

To get a B grade overall you need 70% of the total UMS available which is 140/200 = 70% = B.

You've got 96 already (assuming grade boundaries are the same as last year for the practical unit) so to get 140 you need 44 more UMS which is a D grade in the exam (last year to get 44/80 UMS you needed 44/80 raw marks in the exam).

To get a C grade overall you need 60% of the total UMS available which is 120/200 = 60% = C.

You've got 96 already (assuming grade boundaries are the same as last year for the practical unit) so to get 120 you need 24 more UMS which is an F grade in the exam (last year to get 24/80 UMS you needed 24/80 raw marks in the exam).

If you have 120/120 UMS, you need 60/80 UMS for an A* overall (as you need 180/200 UMS).

54/80 on the exam would have got you 60/80 UMS last year.

57/80 on the exam would have got you 61/80 UMS in June 2014 (60/80 UMS wasn't available - only 59 and 61).
