Help In Extended Essay Topic

I am currently doing Grade 11 IB and my school has introduced me to the Extended Essay. I am unable do decide on a Topic. My Subject for EE is Computer Science. The teacher who I am assigned to told me that I needed to do an experiment for the EE.

Topic 1: What are metamorphic Viruses? How are they designed to escape anti viruses and how do they affect a PC?
The Experiment which I thought for this was that I could Download and install viruses in my computer and check which Anti-virus gives out the best protection, which one lets the virus pass and which one stops it.

Topic 2: How has efficient coding changed the way of gaming? (In terms of Artificial Intelligence and Advance physics, etc.)
I couldnt think of an experiment for this.

Can someone please help me with this.
