What job prospects are available to someone with a philosophy degree?

Do employers respect a degree in philosophy? Which is likely to open more career paths; a degree in English or Philosophy?
Well if you're into teaching, go Philosophy! You're kind of limited there so unless you become famous like Richard Dawkins or Ken Ham you're stuck.
With English you've could be a teacher, editor, writer, journalist etc.

Most employers don't care what the degree was actually in, they care more about what the person has to offer in terms of work experience and soft skills.
