Mine was at unievrsity as well, via a sports society (skiing) social.
One of my best friends met hers at work as she finished school at A-level and went straight into an office job. Another met hers whilst we were still studying GCSE's through the local young farmers club.
So basically see where your interests take you and you'll most likely find someone who has similar interests to you, which, in my opinion, is a fundemental part of a relationship.
