I can celebrate loudly seeing as I can't in real life
So a bit of background: I've been in amateur dramatics since I was 5 years old (mostly non audition). I was always in the chorus but once I got older I stsrted looking outside this one group which I'd always worked with. I auditioned for Annie in 2011 and got in which was my first proper show. At school in year 6 I was Blousey in Bugsy Malone. I've done a few minor things since namely with my kids drama group I started in year7 but I'm still with that original group I started age 5. As we grew up a side group arose for youth only which I also joined. One of the mums in the original group blackmailed the production team into giving her daughter the main part for several years. Her daughter can't sing or dance (that's not my opinion that's what other people have said) so she didn't deserve all these majn parts.
This year we got an almost completely new production team and I went for auditions yesterday and the cast liist came out today.
The new production team have not given in to the mums demands and this girl who I've been in competition with hasn't got the main part.
I'm so excited to be given this chance I just had to share it somewhere but I'm not allowed to in real life so I shared it here instead
I can't believe all this perseverance and hard work has actually paid off!!!
I need somewhere
