How?! I set my phone to spanish settings and its helping, I occasionally stare at some vocab on my wall...but I'm terrible at it...I have A's in all my coursework, last speaking is on wednesday and hoping to get A/A* but Im so worried about the exam I feel helpless. How do you guys revise? Please don't say flash cards theres sooooo many words is there any good sites for the key vocab or any tips at all?

Do you have anyone you can practise with?

    Sorry, but flashcards.

Go on a website like Quizlet or something and make a set with vocab you need to know and play games to help you remember it.

You could also look for some Spanish podcasts/lets plays/whatever you're interested in that you can listen to.

For listening and reading exams I usually do past papers, or use an app called Memrise which has a course in AQA French - it basically helps you to learn all vocab! (If you're not with AQA there may be standard courses with general vocab. or there may be courses from other exam boards)

For coursework though, I find that the only way that works for me is to write out what I'm going to say in full, and then divide it up according to how long I have and learn a bit each day (e.g if I have a week until the exam and 7 paragraphs, then I'll try to memorise one paragraph each day). I usually do it a little like the shopping game if you've ever played it haha - start off learning one sentence, then the first two sentences, then three etc. until you get to the end, then just keep repeating it every now and again so you don't forget

Also, there's a site called 'Language Gym' that our teacher recommends - it has vocab for all GCSE specs and practice with conjugation, accuracy etc

    Hope that helped!

I love Memrise it brings up the vocab you keep forgetting and makes you review them every few hours to embed them in your memory 😊
