    Any tips for taking notes?
My exams are in 4 weeks and I need to work fast.
Any tips on taking notes quickly?

Make sure that you are only writing down bullet points and key words, not full sentences. I've also found that using lots of different colours help; for example, you might use one colour to write down key words you need to know, or have each topic in the lesson written in a different colour. This can really help when revising from your notes. If they look interesting and colourful, you're also more likely to revise from them!

Creating abbreviations or symbols for words/phrases can really help speed things up, just remember to write a quick key at the start of the lesson. I know you asked about taking notes quickly, but they will useless if they aren't well written and laid out, so make sure to leave clear gaps between topics/information and maybe do some quick doodles linked to your notes to help you remember them.

Spider diagrams or flow charts are also great for making quick notes and for changing things up a bit so you aren't just faced with chunks of text. One more thing, if the lesson has a powerpoint that will be made available to you later, don't waste time copying things from it, you can do that after the lesson to save time.
