Silly Edexcel exam question

I've read somewhere to do diagrams in the exams in pencil not pen.

However previous exam paper instructions don't mention using pencil for diagrams just an overall instruction to "use black ink or ball point pen" on the exam papers.

Could anyone clarify this for me as i don't have any teachers to ask.

Doesn't matter, as long as they can see it.

You will never receive instructions from Edexcel to do diagrams in pencil. The reason why it is adviced (at the front page) to use pen is because your paper is going to scan and a pencil is less legible.

Thank you both. I will stick to using a pen
