Hello! I'm not sure if posting this is the best idea or whether I'm posting this in the right place but any opinions and facts in this situation would be really helpful.
So a few months ago we put down the A Levels that we wanted to do. I chose Physics, Chemistry, Maths Mechanics and History.
Now, I know for a fact that I no longer want to do History and I want to change my option. I can't decide between Business or Further Maths, however.
Maths is my favourite subject and I'm currently working at a solid A, which I can hopefully push up to an A* by exam day. Business is currently one of my highest subjects, but I suppose it's kind of boring. They say that the A Level course is much more interesting and that I'd probably enjoy it.
My main dilemmas are: will doing further maths mean I'm doing too many maths based subjects at A Level? Does business offer me something to fall back on? If I choose further maths, will I even be able to pass? Am I just taking business for the sake of it because I'm scared I won't be good enough to do further?
Different teachers have told me different things but all have told me that I am capable at doing whatever I set my mind to. I want to go on to university and study Astrophysics in the future.
So, there you go. Any opinions will be extremely helpful, especially if you've done any of the courses mentioned!
A Level choice dilemma?
