It is wrong I think.

I think its wrong because i didnt substract my answer from initial temperature , othewrise the answer would be 11.6 oh well just 1 mark lost

anyone get around 41.something for the new activity?
Me and all my friends got around 42, I think it depends on the rounding you used
3. If I used 75 as t for the activity question (2015 - 1950 = 75 derp) - but did the decay constant and A = A0 e^-kt correctly, how many marks lost?
4. Crap crap crap crappy crap crap anyone find that paper hard???

GCE or IAL? I found the gce paper tough indeed

For the trignometry parallex question can you explain it by drawing the diagram
Yeepp!
I copied the one from mark schemes and added some explanation.

Did you add the mc respectively for each object?

I got 11.6 for the temp, I added the m and c respectively. Would I lose 1?

11. 5 minutes
Power 650 Watts
E = Pt = 5 x 650 x 60 = 195000J

Then there were two mcθ you had to equate to?
12. To get an a* in physics do you need an a* in both unit 4 and 5 or just average across unit 4 and 5???
13. (Original post by Middriver)
How did you do it?
Power * 5 * 60 = (raspberry mass + pan mass) * (c for raspberry + c for pan) * delta T

5 minutes
Power 60 Watts
E = Pt = 5 x 60 x 60 = 18000J

Then there were two mcθ you had to equate to?
Power was 650W?

Ah right thanks.

Average across both, so you could get 100% in U4 but 80% in U5, also remember your coursework needs to be 90% UMS

Thanks thats a relief
19. Tbh it was an alright paper considering physics is my weakest subject , however there was some mind**** questions like that specific heat capacity being inversly propotional to atomic mass LOL
20. mandem physics is a myth i just want a B lool
