Phd decision

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

How do the schools typically notify you on acceptance/rejection? Via email? Is it an informal email or a formal letter? If email, who sends you the email? Your proposed supervisor or the Admissions Office? Thanks, everyone. Just trying to keep sane while I wait for a decision.

There is no "typical". Each university, and sometimes even departments within a university, will have its own system.

Did you finally hear an outcome? Hope you aren't still waiting and got the outcome you hoped for. I had a 6 week wait which was torture so I feel your pain!!

I did and it was a good one! I'm headed to Sunderland for my Phd this October. Thanks for feeling my pain...
