University or not?

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

A few months ago I got offered a place at Loughborough University to study a foundation year in art, which I would then later use to apply for the London College of Fashion to study Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics for Performance. However recently I've started to question whether I would actually benefit from going to university to study this, or whether I would be just as well-off going to a local college to study hair and makeup whilst working for a cosmetics company. I just wanted to hear other people's opinions about this who have faced similar situations within this field of work.
