CMI qualification beneficial for consultancy?

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

    Hi everyone,

I'm a current 3rd year (out of 4) undergraduate. This summer I am doing an internship and I have been offered to get a discounted CMI qualification. It would a Level 5 Award.

Would it beneficial if I want to go into consultancy and to what degree?
I.e. it can make a difference for top firms, I can demand a higher starting wage when I graduate....

My only real concern is the time of it. I would be doing it alongside or right after my internship and as I will be staying in Hong Kong, I want to travel and see the city as well. So I might not want to spend every hour I have to spare writing a CMI project.
Does anyone have any idea of the time spent on this programme?

    Thank you!
